Why must I create an account?
An account is necessary so that any data that you input and wish to save in the SoftMouse database will be specifically associated with your research and no one else.

Does SoftMouse offer a data import / transfer service into the database from our existing spreadsheet?
Yes SoftMouse has a Simple Data Import service that can assist in transferring data from your spreadsheet into the SoftMouse database.

What differences can I expect with SoftMouse FREE?
The FREE edition is a simplified version of the full-featured Single User account, providing the same benefits as the paid edition of lineage tracking and cage and mouse counts for cost management and experiment planning via a paired down feature selection.
Specifically, you will lose access to the customizable drop down lists, the Family Tree, Projects module along with certain Filter parameters and History Tables on the Edit pages.

How do I cancel my account instead?
If you prefer to simply cancel your account, you can email [email protected]
with subject line: "Please cancel my SoftMouse
account" and we will take care of the rest.
If you wish to sign up for SoftMouse
again in the future, you can easily do so by registering for another free trial account here.
What differences can I expect with SoftMouse FREE ?
SoftMouse FREE only allows for one user account. If you were trialing a Group Account, only the primary account holder will now have access to SoftMouse with all other accounts deactivated.
From a features perspective, you will lose access to the customizable drop down lists, the Family Tree, the Projects Module along with certain filter parameters and history tables.
What happens to the data I entered in my trial if I opt for the FREE plan?
Not to worry, all data entered into your trial will all still be there if you opt for the FREE plan!
What Payment types are accepted?
We accept Credit Card, PayPal, Purchase Order, Direct Deposit, Wire Transfer. Whatever works for your lab / institution!
